Falcon Express has leased the Airbus A330 for 12 months, CEO says

Falcon Express, the private aircraft company founded by former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, said it has leased an Airbus A320-200 for 12 years for logistics operations at its Boston-based aircraft maintenance facility.

Falcon Express said Wednesday that the aircraft has an “exceptional cargo capacity and is a highly efficient transport system that is well suited for transporting cargo and personnel.”

The company, based in Massachusetts, will use the aircraft for the “long-term freight operations and transportation of goods, passengers and cargo,” Falcon Express said.

The company has a fleet of around 6,500 aircraft, according to its website.

Falcons A330 is one of the most popular aircraft in the United States, accounting for about 30% of the airline’s total air traffic, according a 2016 report from Airline Analysts.

The aircraft has been in service for 15 years, and the company expects the aircraft to be flying for more than a decade.

Falcos A330-200 is a turboprop airliner that has a capacity of 5,000 to 6,000 seats.

The A330 has a crew of six, including pilots, flight attendants, and ground staff.

The jet can carry up to 12,000 pounds of cargo.
